Fr. Thomas H. Green, S.J. is a native of Rochester, NY. He received his training in philosophy and theology at the Aquinas Institute there and has advanced degrees in education and physics from Fordham University (1957 and 1960) and a Ph.D. (Philosophy of Science) from the University of Notre Dame (1968) 

Fr. Green is presently the Spiritual Director of San Jose Seminary, Manila, Philippines and Professor of Philosophy and Theology at Ateneo de Manila University and Loyola School of Theology. He has published nine books on prayer and spirituality including such well-known titles as: Opening to God, When the Well Runs Dry, Prayer and Common Sense, The Friend of the Bridegroom and Weeds Among the Wheat.
